Gundam Build Day Abstracted

My professor instructed me to create an abstract representation/multimedia piece of a gathering place featuring people, without depicting actual people. My thoughts immediately turned to my niche special interest and favorite activity to do with my dad, the Gundam build days at Galactic Toys. The boxes or squares in the background that have the letter "g" represent the Gundams available for purchase. The blobs symbolize the people and the energy of everyone moving around the store. The circles between the people signify the connection I feel when socializing with these like-minded geeks, the circles aren't perfect to show there's no need for perfection here. The checkered pattern on the ground represents the tables, and the circles on them indicate when people engage in Pokémon games at these tables. The spikes on the yellow of the table and the 3 lines on each the red (hard to see in this image) represent the model kits being built. And the stars on the floor represent the name of the store itself "Galactic" Toys. I guess in a way also the two people at the table represent my dad and I. A multimedia piece, It's done in pastels, ink and brush, and sharpie. I did use charcoal to fix some smudging but it's not intentionally in the piece.
